As a Career Ownership Coach I assist many people in achieving their goals of independence, financial freedom, and a flexible lifestyle. It is my passion to help people give their dreams wings! The value that I bring to you is to help you gain clarity on what your ideal life and professional situation would be and then to help you discover opportunities that you might not discover on your own.

Most of my clients are very open to the exploration of business ownership as a potential vehicle for reaching their goals. I create a safe space for that learning process with no pressure and plenty of encouragement and support. My clients and I truly focus on their vision for the future as they discover what is possible for them.

I chose to start my coaching business by working with a career coach much like myself so I understand on a personal level how powerful it can be to receive mentoring and guidance as you seek to move to the next stage of your professional life.

Work history.

I spent 26 years directing the administration of a suite of workforce management applications for a major financial institution. As a widely recognized subject matter expert in both workforce management strategies and the nuances of the specific platform that my team managed, I was able to help the firm effectively manage their contact centers across approximately thirty different product lines and globally in five countries.

As my career progressed and I reached the level of Vice President in the firm, I began to realize that my favorite part of my position was not the technical collaboration, project management, strategic consulting or process improvement that made up the majority of my job description, but rather the mentoring and coaching that I engaged in with both my direct reports and other team members across my organization. Nothing else gave me the same satisfaction and pleasure as helping the people around me to achieve their aspirations for their careers.

With that in mind, I retired from the firm in order to start my business as a Career Coach for The Entrepreneur’s Source. Now I spend every day helping my clients to achieve their aspirations for their careers and for their lives. I have to pinch myself some days that this is what I get to do every day!

Coaching highlights.

What I love most about the coaching I get to do is the creation of a Vision Statement for my clients. In the course of our coaching sessions, I get to learn about each client’s goals around Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity and from those goals, come to understand my client’s Vision for their future. That Vision Statement then becomes the centerpiece of my client’s explorations into which vehicles, such as a different job or business ownership, can get them to that future and provide the best opportunity for their success as they move forward. Every opportunity that they are presented can be evaluated against that Vision Statement to determine if it is the right opportunity to help them reach their goals. Most of my clients deeply value the clarity that they gain from our work in creating this  picture of what they want to make happen in their lives!
